Family Boarding

When your dog stays in our home, you can feel at ease knowing he is part of our family.  We will never crate your dog (unless requested) or leave them alone for an extended period of time.  I will meet with you and your dog prior to her stay to learn as much as we can about their behaviors, likes & dislikes and daily routine.  I want to know if they are used to cuddling in a cozy chair, likes tummy tickles or looks forward to 3 walks a day.  My mission is to provide highly personalized care so your pup feels close to home...because we all understand what homesick feels like.

Outdoor Fun

I can ensure that your pet will have more than enough time outside. It will be hard to stop their tails from wagging with all the fun they’ll be having. Outdoor activities not only provide an opportunity for exercise, but also help to curb bad habits by giving pets a chance to release excess energy and socialize with other animals.

About Me

Professional Pet Sitter

Caring for animals has always brought me an immense amount of joy.  Observing dogs at play, entangled in a game of wrestle or tug of war, noticing their subtle ways of "dog talk" brings a smile to my face.  While spending 15 years in the corporate world, and never feeling a sense of fulfillment, I began volunteering at the Angel Memorial Adoption Center in Jamaica Plain where I cared for dogs and cats while they waited for their forever home.  After a year of volunteering, I took a position as an Adoption Counselor, helping families find their perfect pet.   After starting my own family, I pursued my certification as a  Veterinary Assistant.    Soon after, I began my dog boarding business and have loved the energy it brings to our home.

What Clients are Saying

"Our senior dog and older puppy had a great stay with Julie. Our older dog is usually anxious going places these days and was visibly shaking as we drove to Julie’s. Julie was able to soothe her and I could tell when I left that my dogs would be very well taken care of. Julie kept in touch while we were gone and sent photos and videos of the dogs playing. Her yard is a perfect set up to keep the dogs safely confined with plenty of room and toys."

-- Jennifer H.

"Julie was fantastic! Highly communicative, very flexible with drop off/pick up. I felt like our dog was part of a new family that weekend vs. being in a kennel. Would not hesitate to book with her in the future!"

--  Ida H.

Julie went above and beyond while taking care of my dog. She was extremely attentive to my dog's needs and handled everything in a caring, patient, professional manner. She also regularly communicated with me which allowed me to enjoy my vacation as I knew my dog was in great hands. I would highly recommend Julie, she will treat your dog like family and handle any situation that may arise.
